California Is In Dispute With Tribe.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger believes that the Jamul Indian band violated the tribe's state gambling compact, when they started construction a new casino. It was because of this that Schwarzenegger summoned tribal leaders to Sacramento to discuss the matter.
By take this step in a formal matter, the state and the tribe can resolve this matter efficiently. The session will on the 4th of January, and will discuss some of the issues that are disturbs both sides. All this came about after December 10ths tribal groundbreaking ceremony which was part of the problem that contradicted the compact.
The tribe can�t work on any project until a federal environmental report is completed. Tribal Chairman Leon Acebedo claimed they did nothing that seemed to be seen as construction. It is because of this that the governor has an issue with the tribe, and the tribe has an issue of being falsely accused; at least this is their claim.
