Allegiant Air Partners Non- Stop With Santa Maria.

Santa Maria and Lompoc will soon be able to fly to Las Vegas without needing to go through Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo first. Starting next month, L.V-based Allegiant Air will offer once-a-week, a direct line from Santa Maria Airport to Las Vegas. Flights will go out on the weekends, and return then too.
Allegiants market research shows that low-fare non-stop flights are welcome in this part of the country. Allegiants MD-80 jets can hold up to 150 passengers, and are offering limited introductory deals. They start at $39, until the end of this month, and then can be as low as $59 afterwards.
In 2003, Scenic Airlines, also based in Las Vegas, wanted to go this direction, but never was able to do so. It is because of this that Allegiant Airlines will be the only one known of offering flights from these places directly to Las Vegas without driving there. Already it looks like it may be a popular move.
