Schools Looking For Slot Money.

Consideration is likely for Charles Jaskiewicz, the new Chairman of the Norwich Board of Education. He told reporters last week that he would think about accepting slot revenue for one school in eastern Connecticut. All this came about with the results of legislation, and their increase in state funds.
The school is looking to the state to put some of that money to good use. Representative Tom Reynolds of Ledyard, who helped the General Assembly get more funding, wasn�t so convinced, and actually put out a sign of caution. He worries about the state making the same amount of money to keep up with those kinds of needs.
