Bush Makes Decipher Between the Tribal Casinos.

The Bush administration is now developing a way to make clear the difference involving Class 2 and Class 3 gambling. This will be especially prominent in Oklahoma, where gambling is high.
Specialists on the issue say that, the move would obligate more Oklahoma tribes to work with the state. This merger would help to make millions of dollars for education funding. Minnesota US Attorney Tom Heffelfinger heads the Justice Department panel on Native American issues, to decipher the differences between the classes. He says so far Class 3 means slot machine gambling and Class 2 is gambling machines based on bingo.
Federal law restricts tribes to bingo games, unless they make a deal with their state. Class 3 gambling is reserved for tribes that make a pack with their states.26 of Oklahoma's 38 federally recognized Native American tribes have signed slot machine contracts.
