Lotto Drops as Gas Rises.

Higher gasoline prices appear to be slowing lottery ticket sales. The state lottery director believes that when prices are high people arent coming to the pump. When hey dont come to the pump, they arent walking into the stores to get goodies, and buy tickets.
Lottery Director Chuck Keller said it is all interconnected. Most of their lottery retailers are at truck stops, and c-stores. These convenience stores sell diesel, gas, or both, but arent making any other money from these truckers, or visitors. They arent even getting pop or candies.
Knowing this more promotions are to be planned, including allowing the 10 millionth ticket buyer to win $10,000. They are desperate to bring lotto sales back up. Keller is sad by the chance, but wants to rectify it.
