Gaming Files Made Public Via The Internet. 2005-08-07
The Mexican government has now made its final list of valid gaming and raffles permits in the area. This includes horse racetracks, dog tracks and jai alai frontons, as well and permit holders based on the Federal Gaming and Raffles Law of 1947. This was all made public on August 4.
The Secretariat of Government (Gobernacin) posted the names and information over the weekend. It can be seen on the web page of its Deputy General Directorate of Gaming and Raffles, in Spanish. This includes 22 master permit holders, with information on their business, and owners, representatives, corporations, and stockholders, and detailed information on them. The information has been given in conformity with Mexico's Federal Transparency and Access to Governmental Public Information Law.
