Conference for Casino Marketing.

Casino Marketing�s 2005 Conference kicks off Sunday at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. More than 300 top marketing and gaming pros of 120 casinos and gaming companies are expected to attend. The Conference is meant to be three days from 17-19. Awards are expected to be given.
The conference will include The Casino Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award. The award will be given to Jack Binion. Binion is a living legend in the gaming industry. He is known for Horseshoe in Downtown Las Vegas, to the building of the Horseshoe Gaming Empire in riverboat markets, merging with Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. It was an award most rightly deserved.
Other awards the follow will be, the inaugural Romero Awards: Recognizing Excellence in Casino Marketing, to be presented at a noon luncheon on July 18. The award is named for casino marketing leaders and author John Romero. Romero also will serve as one of the judges for the competition. From 68 entries, the judges will choose Diamond, Gold, Silver and Honorable Mention winners in seven categories, in all casino classifications.
