Players Network Produces Poker Reality Show 2005-07-03
Players Network declared over the weekend that they will produce a live program from the World Series of Poker, at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The show will be called “World Series of Poker Lifestyle Show" airing Wednesday, July 6th. Player's Network's new broadband site will also carry the show.
The show will be held at the same time as the start of the $10,000 main event. The show will then air 6 hours each day of live programming for 4 days. Poker players and fans will have free access to the show.
Players Network will produce the show over the internet, as well as Video On Demand, for educational/entertainment purposes. There will also be "poker reality segments" being filmed. Poker and reality will come together here.
Mark Bradley, Player Network’s President and Founder, Michael Berk, President of Programming will serve as Executive Producers of the shows. The programs are meant to display the thrill of the events, personal stories of the poker players and a behind the scenes look. It brings life, to the life behind the game.
As of yet, there is nothing announced on when the broadcasts will occur. The time slots are now in discussion on when to be filled. Sometime in the next few days more information on that will be known.
