Lottery Corporation Plays Ball for a Good Cause. 2005-06-12
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLGC), has arranged its employees to participate in a Charity Baseball Game in Niagara Falls. This 2005 game will be an all day event, over the course of two days.
Over 700 of these members are scheduled to be part of this tournament. It is estimated that this number of people will make up 43 teams from twelve of their racetrack slots, three charity casinos, two commercial casinos, and a corporate team.
The game is open to the media on June 14th, and 15th from 9am to 8 pm. Live entertainment is to follow in between the games, AM Glory is one of the featured events. This charity event publicized for the health societies.
All money raised in this event will go towards to the Federated Health Campaign, sponsored by OLGC 2005. The Health Campaign will appropriate the profits to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Tuesday game will feature OLGC Executives against the Niagara Regional Police, at 7 pm.
