Gambling Debts Laid To Rest With Break In. 2005-11-08
There is an abundance of crime, but crime that comes from desperation of money, because of lack off. In this case in Ohio, a man didnt commit a crime for this reason, but faked one. He faked a robbery at his home to cover up the fact that he had gambling debts. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office discovered this, and said this was the man's purpose for the crime.
The man, William A. Bartlett II, 30, told deputies that two men broke into his home. He said all of this happened about 3:15 a.m. yesterday. When they entered they bound and gagged him with tape, and proceeded to steal money from his safe.
Something must not have smelled right; as detectives determined that something seemed fishy. Detectives figured out that he had made up the whole story. When they confirmed these reports they were able to arrest him. This happened quite fast, as they arrested him about four hours later.
