Casino Workers Get their Pay Day.

Stanley's Casino workers have voted to accept an improved pay offer of 3.5% or �600 a year, avoiding the threat strike. The threat came about; when workers were upset with the amount of pay they were receiving. The threat of strike, had it happened would have been Britain�s first ever by casino workers.
Stanley's staff will get the pay back due to them, since May 1st of this year, in their next paycheck. An earlier offer of 3.2% was rejected by the staff at Stanley's many casinos in England and Scotland. They instead were insulted, and asked for more, or threatened to strike.
Mick Ainsley, GMB Organizer, felt this deal is a step in the right direction. They still have a long way to go. Casino workers may not build the casinos, but they keep them running, and deserve a little of that profit fee.
